Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Viognier from Virginia opens with an apricot and white peach bouquet with hints of orange peel, pineapple, and lychee. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, slightly viscous, bright, and zippy. The flavor profile is white peach pit and slightly tart white grapefruit blend with notes of lime zest and white pepper. We also detected hints of banana and gooseberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite some time. This Viognier benefits from a little aeration. Give this refreshing Viognier some serious swirling before pairing it with linguini with scallops and clams with a white wine broth or with fried coconut shrimp. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Absence of oak aging combines with extravagant lees contact and exclusion of oxygen in stainless steel to protect and concentrate welcoming aromatics and luscious flavors, fine for cellaring.
