Wine Review: If you love South African Sauvignon Blanc, this is a very good value offering! It is pale straw-colored and opens with an inviting green pepper bouquet with ripe tropical fruit notes in the background. On the palate, it is medium bodied and bright. The green pepper bouquet carries through to the palate that also includes notes of black pepper, grapefruit and lemon. I enjoyed the balanced and refreshing acidity and minerality. The grapefruit and lemon flavors carry through to a slightly dry extended finish. I would pair this enjoyable Sauvignon Blanc with a Connecticut style warm lobster roll with butter. - Joe
