Wine Review: This pale garnet colored Pinot Noir from Beau Marchais opens with a crushed stone and red plum bouquet with hints of cinnamon and red cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and displays well-integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, structured, and fresh. The flavor profile is a stony mineral and red plum blend with notes of red raspberry. We also detected hints of green peppercorns and a touch of chai tea. The finish is dry, and its acidity, moderate tannins and flavors linger and last for a very long time.
