Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Rhone grape blend from Beckman opens with a black cherry bouquet with hints of boysenberry and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, fruit forward and very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty blackberry and oak blend with notes of minerality and black cherry. I also detected hints of black pepper and a touch of black licorice at the end. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins stick around for a very long time. This is a very good tailgating option to have with a juicy burger or steak tips off the grill. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The release of the 2017 vintage marks the 20th Anniversary of Cuvee le Bec. It is layered, nuanced, textured, beautifully expressive and complex. The 2017 Cuvee le Bec is one of the finest we have ever produced. It explodes out of the glass with red and black fruits, baking spices, pepper, violets, and licorice aromas and flavors. Textured, silky and layered, this is the most elegant and stylistic Cuvee le Bec we have ever produced.
