Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Zinfandel from Bella Grace opens with a fragrant boysenberry jam bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, slightly acidic, juicy and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a cocoa and blackberry blend with notes of black tea, cinnamon and a touch of plum. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger and stick around for a while. This Zin is food friendly and would pair well with braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken
