Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Benovia is very good and was well liked by all those that tried it. It opens with a mild red currant and red plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, elegant and displays nice fruit flavors. Those fruit flavors are a tasty mild red raspberry with hints of pepper, oak and red plum. The finish is dry and its fine tannins drift away nicely. This Pinot is very food friendly. It would pair well with Emeril

Winemaker Notes: This extraordinary single vineyard Pinot Noir gives an immediate impression of depth and concentration in the glass, with remarkably explosive aromas of boysenberry and vine ripened black raspberry. The palate is viscous and rich, yet light on its feet, with fine-polished tannins and an exceptionally balanced acidity.
