Wine Review: This midnight blue colored Rhone blend opens with a cherry-cola and new leather bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is definitely old world styled. Featuring cedar plank infused mild boysenberry flavors with hints of minerality and strawberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins fade away nicely. Mark and I suggested pairing this food friendly wine with braised rabbit or veal medallions with a brown mushroom sauce. Enjoy - Ken
