Wine Review: This pale salmon colored Champagne from Besserat de Bellefon opens with very small streaming bubbles. This wine opens with a faint bread dough bouquet with hints of orange peel and red apple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic, polished and soft. The flavor profile is a lemon, almond and bread dough blend with notes of strawberry. We also detected hints of green tea, minerality and lime. The finish is dry and refreshing. We would pair this Brut Rose with chilled shrimp cocktail or salmon in a puff pastry. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
