Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa is a good value offering. It opens with a bright nose featuring aromas of green apple, Bartlett pear and wet stone. On the palate, it is light bodied, crisp and acidic with the flavors of pear and apple core dissipate quickly. This Sauvignon Blanc would be a nice, light accompaniment to a summer picnic or ceviche.
