Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Franc based wine from Biserno opens with a blueberry and moist pipe tobacco bouquet with hints of bayberry, pencil lead, and blackberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a blackberry and stewed black plum blend with notes of graphite and blueberry. We also detected hints of oak, anise, prune, and cola. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and refined tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this red blend with a porterhouse steak or Roy’s rib roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby red in color, with a bouquet that features intriguing notes of ripe red fruit, accompanied by scents of brushwood. Full-bodied, vibrant upon entry, it floods the palate with its dense and elegant tannic texture, closing with a persistent and beautifully crisp finish. Pair with braised or roasted meats and hard cheeses.
