Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir opens with an attractive boysenberry bouquet with a hint of cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied displays pleasant acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty black plum and black cherry blend with notes of nicely integrated cola, mild vanilla and oak. I also detected a hint of cranberry and boysenberry. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot is very food friendly. It would pair well with stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Complex yet incredibly focused, our 2017 Sierra Mar Vineyard Pinot Noir unfurls in layers of ripe plum, black cherry, and exotic spice accented by sweet vanillin oak. The wine's juicy, dark-berry core gains an enveloping texture on the palate, with polished, fine grained tannins adding age worthy grip on the long, sinewy finish.
