Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Black Stallion opens with an inviting black cherry and black currant bouquet with hints of black licorice and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, rich, and dense. The flavor profile is an extracted blackberry and black licorice blend with notes of oak and stewed black plum. I also detected hints of black tea and loam. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins build-up and stick around for a very long time. I would decant this Cab for a while before pairing it with a well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy – Ken
