Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and dark garnet colored blend from Blackbird opens with a red currant and graphite bouquet with hints of black raspberry, vanilla, and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a graphite and red plum blend with integrated moderate oak. We also detected hints of cola, chewing tobacco and light chalky minerality. The finish is dry and its mellow tannins linger slightly. The Panel would pair this wine with a braised wild boar shanks or braised buffalo pot roast. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Bright and youthful aromas of blueberry, cedar, toffee, violet, plum, fresh blackberry and raspberry envelop the nose of this classically styled Cabernet Franc-blend. A rich mid-palate with seamless flavors from start to finish of cedar, cherry, plum and dark chocolate. Paramour delivers a beautiful, long finish of cedar, black licorice, blackberry. – Aaron Pott
