Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Syrah opens with a ripe blackberry jam bouquet with hints of blueberry and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is a spicy ripe blackberry with notes of blueberry, black raspberry, and mild oak. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are a little tingly and linger. This full throttle fruit bomb still has tons of fruit left. It reminds me of a ripe Aussie Shiraz. Pair it with a messy rack of ribs. Enjoy - Ken
