Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Blue Farm was a hit with the Tasting Panel. It opens with a mild black plum and faint oak bouquet a hint of vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well-balanced and silky. The flavor profile is a tasty red plum and cola blend with notes of vanilla. We also detected hints of oak, red raspberry and black tea. The finish is dry and its fine tannins and flavors drift away nicely. The Panel really enjoyed this satiny Pinot Noir. They thought it would be very nice on its own. With food, fresh sliced Norwegian salmon was suggested. Enjoy - KWGTP
