Wine Review: This clear dark red colored Pinot Noir from Blue Farm opens with a shy toasted oak and black plum bouquet with hints of clove and red cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is awesome as it is very well balanced, silky smooth, and delicate. The flavor profile is gentle spiced red plum and clove blend with notes of marionberry and oak. We also detected hints of red currant and black licorice. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity, and polished moderate tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with Jiko’s grilled wild boar tenderloin. Enjoy - KWGTP
