Wine Review: This clear and red colored Pinot Noir from Blue Farm opens with an old leather and black tea bouquet with hints of loam and black currant. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced and round. The flavor profile is cedar influenced black plum and tobacco blend with notes of stone dust and red cherry. We also detected hints of black pepper and black tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate dusty tannins are nicely extended. We would pair this versatile and food friendly Pinot Noir with pilgrim sandwich on the day after Thanksgiving. Enjoy - Ken & Mark
