Wine Review: This midnight purple colored blend from Bootleg opens with an attractive blueberry and vanilla oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and round. The flavor profile is a mild blueberry and gentle plum blend with notes of dark chocolate, coconut and coffee. The finish is dry and its sticky tannins show very good length. This big boy was enjoyed by all that tried it. We would pair it with a ribeye steak. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is a deep, opaque purple and exudes aromas of lavender, blueberry and bacon smoke. Its texture is round, full bodied and incredibly creamy. It exhibits flavors of forest fruits, black pepper and toasted oak. This substantial, yet supple wine is superb on its own, but could elevate sautéed mushrooms and lamb sausages to next level status.
