Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Bouchard Père & Fils opens with a very floral bouquet featuring gardenia along with hints of anise, green apple, and wet slate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, silky smooth, bright, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a chalky minerality and light lemon-lime blend with notes white tea, sea spray, and green apple. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this delicate Chard with Coquilles St.-Jacques. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Tasting Note: Intense floral and fruit aromas on the nose. Full-bodied, rich and smooth, this wine has a very lingering aftertaste. Good ageing potential. Pairs with fish and white meat in a cream sauce.
