Wine Review: This clear pale white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from Brassfield opens with a jasmine and green apple bouquet with hints of pear and lily of the valley. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, bright, fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is passionfruit and light lime blend with notes of lemon verbena and poached pear. We also detected hints of chalky minerality, saline, guava, and peach pit. The finish is rather dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended. We would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with fried calamari or a pork schnitzel. Enjoy - KWGTP
