Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Semillon from Australia opens with a rose and light lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a lime and lemon blend with notes of minerality. We also detected some hints of peach pit and asparagus mixed in. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors linger nicely. This Panel suggested pairing this Semillon with swordfish kabobs and a spring vegetable risotto. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Excellent color of pale yellow with luminous green tints. Lifted grapefruit and lime zest aromas that are typical of young Semillon. Great line and length with a zippy acid backbone. Slightly richer in style than previous years with lovely citrus pith flavors, a Classic Hunter Valley Semillon to enjoy now or age gracefully. Pair with Asian food or freshly shucked oysters.
