Wine Review: This red blend from Buena Vista is a great wine for the winter. It is opaque and midnight blue colored. It opens with a blueberry bouquet with hints of blackberry and a touch of boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, super smooth and velvety. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and black cherry blend with hints of blackberry and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and fruit flavors are nicely prolonged. Mark and I thought this wine would pair well with sauteed veal medallions. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Buena Vista Legendary Badge is a powerful wine, brimming with personality. It's authoritative and loyal, a bold combination of Petite Sirah, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvedre, Grenache and Merlot. Like the men who are elected to serve their counties, our wine displays a robust magnetism that commands a room (or dinner table) and bridges the gap between traditional and extraordinary. Ripe red fruits abound, dominating the palate while integrated tannins provide great structure and offer an arrestingly vigorous mouthfeel.
