Wine Review: This midnight purple colored kitchen sink blend from Buena Vista was well-received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a mineral influenced black cherry bouquet with notes of cedar. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, round and very smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with notes of minerality. We also detected hints of black cherry, chocolate and plum mixed in. The finish is dry and its gentle fine tannins drift away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this very nice blend with Colorado lamb chops. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The Sheriff of Buena Vista is deserving of its name. This bold 2017 Sonoma County Red Wine is an authoritative blend of Petite Sirah, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Mission and Merlot. Opening with arresting aromas of rich raspberry and blackberry, dark fruit flavors continue through to the palate. Black plum and brambleberry flavors are unleashed with notes of dark chocolate and a touch of baking spice. Integrated, polished tannins with balanced acidity and a long finish make this wine a perfect partner to a variety of dishes.
