Wine Review: This fantastic light brown colored port caught my attention at this year's Boston Wine Expo. It opens with a nutty like bouquet with a hint of heat. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, extremely smooth, and elegant for a Port. It is clearly one of the best port's I have covered. The flavor profile displays very enjoyable nutty elements with a bit of mild raisins and anise mixed in. It does a terrific job of hiding the alcohol which is pre-requisite for me and port. The finish is dry, tingly, and lingers nicely. Pair this wine with creme brulee or pecan pie. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Attractive olive-ochre colour. Excellent aromatic presence, in a complex blend of dried fruits, spices and vanilla notes. Smooth and velvety in the taste. A wine of great elegance and freshness, with a remarkable structure and body, which persist in the long and vigorous finish.
