Wine Review: This Chardonnay is one of the more impressive offerings I have tried this summer. That's the good news. The bad news is there are only 300 cases of it, so you’ll need to get some soon. It is light yellow colored and opens with a very mild lemon bouquet with just a hint of butterscotch. On the palate this wine comes alive. It is full bodied and very well balanced between its fruit and acidity. The flavor profile is a delicious Anjou pear with notes of gentle vanilla oak mixed in. There was also a hint of Granny Smith apple detected. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This Chard is terrific. It will pair with many foods. I would choose Chicken St. Timothy. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: On the nose, it displays, well-focused notions of Gravenstein apple, banana, citron and grapefruit rind with distinct traces of slate and baking dough. On the palate, imagine fall in New England as a flavor persistent, unapologetic flavors of bright fresh fruit, clove and apricot marmalade with a hint of crisp minerality.
