Wine Review: This clear medium purple colored Pinot Noir from CIRQ is excellent! It opens with a black cherry-cola and blackberry bouquet with hints of loam and moist pipe tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, silky smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is very tasty black raspberry and black cherry-cola blend with notes of black tea and tobacco. We also detected hints of red licorice, cedar, black plum, black pepper, and clove. It is pretty complex. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity, and integrated well-managed tannins drift away nicely. We would enjoy this Pinot as a sipper. With food, we would pair it with a rack of lamb. Enjoy - KWGTP
