Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Chenin Blanc opens with a fragrant ripe honeydew melon and lime bouquet with hints of pear and florals. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, juicy and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is chalky minerality, gooseberry, and lime blend with notes of saline and white peach. We also detect hints of honeydew melon and Anjou pear. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger nicely and then fade away. The Tasting Panel would pair this Chenin with oysters or sushi. Enjoy – KWGTP
