Wine Review: This pale straw colored certified organic blend from Spain is consistently very good. It opens with a flinty green apple bouquet with a hint of lime. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused lime with notes of green apple and a touch of quince and apricot. The finish is dry and its flavors and well-managed acidity drift away nicely. This wine is built for shellfish. I would enjoy it with broiled scallops or oysters. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Parellada, Macabeo, Chardonnay, and a touch of Malvasia de Sitges. Parellada at its best, from high-altitude, gravelly mountain soils: intense lemon-oil aroma with firm acid structure enhanced by the rare, glyceric Malvasia. Stony and aromatic, reminiscent of France's Chablis or Rheingau.
