Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Cannonball is very good. It opens with a dark chocolate and black cherry bouquet with notes of herbal tea. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and round. The flavor profile is black currant with notes of blueberry. We also detected some nicely integrated minerality with hints of cherry-vanilla mixed in at the end. The finish is dry and its well-managed tannins show nice length. The Panel suggested pairing this Cab with Roy’s rib roast. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The final blend displays a purple core of luscious juicy ripe black fruits, blueberry, peppered meats, and rich earthen notes. The full-bodied mid-palate leads to a long finish with excellent balance and structure complimented by firm acidity and soft integrated tannins.
