Wine Review: This dark red colored Grenache based blend from Cantadora opens with black plum, graphite and lilac bouquet with hints cassis and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is black plum and mild stony minerality with notes of black cherry and wild blueberry. We also detected hints of cedar and thyme. The finish is dry, and its flavors and its moderate tannins linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this red blend with steak frites, Hungarian goulash, or with a mushroom ravioli. Enjoy – KWGTP
