Wine Review: This hazy and medium ruby colored Tempranillo from Cantadora opens with a fig and black cherry bouquet with hints of oolong tea and violets. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and smooth. The flavor profile is a cherry and stone dust blend with notes of oolong tea and mild tobacco. We also detected hints of fig, blackberry, and oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and rather dusty tannins linger last for quite some time. We would pair this Tempranillo with veal osso buco or porterhouse steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
