Wine Review: This clear and pale white gold colored Pinot Grigio from Cantina Valle Isarco opens with a lemon verbena and green apple bouquet with hints of apricot and violet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, fresh, bright, and zesty. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear and stony minerality blend with notes of green tea. We also detected hints of ginger ale, apricot pit, white grapefruit. The finish is dry, and its flavors and very fresh acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Italian Pinot Grigio with a parmesan crusted baked walleye or baked Dover sole. Enjoy - KWGTP
