Wine Review: This clear and hay colored Chardonnay from Cape May Winery opens with a very aromatic butterscotch, oak, and pineapple bouquet with hints of lemon zest. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and rich. The flavor profile is an oak infused pineapple and chalky minerality blend with notes of butterscotch. I also detected hints of lemon and chamomile tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. I would pair this Chardonnay with pasta carbonara. Enjoy - Ken
