Wine Review: This Sauvignon Blanc from Capture was the clear winner in our recent Big Blind Tasting. It is almost clear colored and opens with a mild grapefruit bouquet with hints of tomato leaf and guava. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty lime and gentle grapefruit blend with hints of lemon verbena, vanilla and a dash of white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors hang on and linger nicely. The Panel suggested pairing it with grilled halibut. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Our flagship wine, the Tradition Sauvignon Blanc, elevates the purity of the variety through stainless steel fermentation and 10 months of sur lie aging. The result is an expression of vibrant fresh grapefruit, young mango, white stone fruit and green apple fragrances. Our Sonoma County vineyards highlight the ideal characteristics for Sauvignon Blanc with mineral texture, brilliant acidity and a fresh finish.
