Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon based blend from Castello del Terriccio opens with a red cherry and pine resin bouquet with a hint of prune. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, delicate and silky. The flavor profile is a mild red currant and fine crushed stone blend with notes of cedar and tart red cherry. We also detected hints loam and red plum. The finish is dry, and its refined tannins build-up and last for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this red blend with Italian bricole or braised short ribs. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: It is a big wine, full-bodied, with complex flavorings. A wine made for ageing and savoring slowly.
