Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Cabernet from Tuscany rocks! It opens with a black cherry and musty old oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and delicious. The flavor profile is a beautiful blend of blueberry and black cherry with notes of oak and black pepper. I also detected hints of anise and blackberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. This Excellent Cab is drinking extremely well right now and would pair nicely with a New York strip steak. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Born in the vineyard "Il Mulino" at 260 metres a.s.l., planted in 1976 with only Cabernet Sauvignon. Its name comes from the famous saying "Nemo propheta in patria" which in those years – the first harvest was in 1982 – was well-suited to the avant-garde and pioneristic spirit of the company. After the vinification in steel, it ages for 18 months in oak barriques and ages another year in glass.
