Wine Review: This very dark red colored wine opens with a firepit ash and black cherry bouquet with a hint red plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty graphite influenced tart cherry with notes of cedar and bay leaf. I also detected hints oregano, black tea, and black plum. The finish is dry, and its very dusty tannins stick around for quite a while. This impressive wine would pair well with a New York strip steak. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: A big, fruity red, almost New World in style except for the vibrant acidity and firm backbone of tannins. The bright fruit evokes black cherry and black currant flavors, while cedar and leather notes add depth.
