Wine Review: This dark ruby Cabernet Sauvignon based blend from Bolgheri opens with a fragrant cigar box and black cherry bouquet with hints of mulberry and tomato leaf. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and dusty. The flavor profile is a black cherry and crushed stone blend with notes of cedar and oolong tea. I also detected a hint of craisin. The finish is very dry, and its tannins build-up and stick around for a long time. I would pair this Cab based wine with a juicy bacon cheeseburger. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Intense ruby red.
Aroma: Red fruit featuring strawberry, cherry, and green spices.
Flavor: Soft, with sweet to medium tannins, well-balanced acidity, fruity persistent aftertaste.
