Wine Review: This light-yellow colored Chardonnay from Chappellet opens with light oak and pineapple bouquet with hints of lemon, banana, and bee’s wax. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, round and on the rich side. This flavor profile is an oak infused pineapple and green apple with notes of butter cream. We also detected hints of nectarine and macadamia nuts. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. The Panel would pair this Chard with lobster with drawn butter. Enjoy – KWGTP
