Wine Review: This clear and garnet colored Pinot Noir from Chappellet opens with a brambly black raspberry and topsoil bouquet with hints of cinnamon and rose petal. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, bright, and round. The flavor profile is marionberry and tobacco blend with notes of loam. We also detected hints of vanilla and mixed berry pie. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot Noir with duck confit. Enjoy - KWGTP
