Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Chapter 24 really impressed our mini-tasting group. It opens with a spent gun-powder and plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile a tasty plum and cedar plank blend with notes of cherry-cola. We also detected hints of minerality and coffee. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. Our group thought this gem would pair well with a Colorado lamb chop. Enjoy – Ken
