Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Merlot based wine from St. Emilion opens with an inviting dark chocolate covered strawberries and blueberry bouquet with a hint of menthol and wet granite. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated minerality. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and seamless. The flavor profile is a crushed stone and black currant blend with notes of blackberry and graphite. We also detected hints of black licorice. The finish is dry and its well-managed dusty tannins drift away nicely. We would decant this wine and pair it with a NY strip steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
