Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Chateauneuf du Pape from Chateau Fortia opens with an old oak and black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is strawberry rhubarb and black cherry with integrated old oak and minerality. The finish is dry and its well managed tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this classic CDP with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
