Wine Review: This clear darkish orange colored Grenache based Rosé from Tavel opens with an orange peel and almond bouquet with hints of faint strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is mild maraschino cherry and saline blend with notes of watermelon and white pepper. I also detected hints of green tea and chalky minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Rosé with crispy Thai spring rolls. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A bright cherry pink, this Tavel rosé shows aromas of blackberry, strawberry, and rose petals. On the palate, this medium to full bodied wine has notes of cherry, blood orange, and almonds. It has a long and elegant finish. Food Pairing: Seared tuna, grilled fish, tomato salad
