Wine Review: This offering from Chateau Leoville Poyferre is Excellent! It is dark red colored and opens with a very attractive blueberry bouquet with hints of cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, exceptionally balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused blueberry with notes of oak and black olive. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate chewy tannins are very nicely prolonged. I would pair this terrific gem with a rib roast. Enjoy – Ken
