Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine from Margaux opens with a black currant and black cherry bouquet with a hint of cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, smooth, and savory. The flavor profile is a crusted stone minerality and black currant blend with notes of oak, tea, and black cherry and a hint of craisin. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins drift away nicely.
