Wine Review: This midnight purple colored wine from St. Estephe opens with a black currant and blackberry bouquet with hints of craisin and cedar. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and rich. The flavor profile is black currant and black tea blend with notes for graphite and oak. We also detected hints of black licorice, very dark chocolate, and black pepper. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins stick around for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this wine with a New York strip steak and a cigar. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The color is ruby red, bright, and intense. The subtle nose is dominated by black fruits (blueberry, blackcurrant and morello cherry). It also unveils aromas of figs and dried fruits, underlined by well-integrated oak and delicate spicy notes. The palate is opulent and refined. The silky tannins reveal a beautiful tannic structure. A long and powerful finish. A bright future for a great Dame.
