Wine Review: This opaque and very dark red colored Merlot based wine from St. Emilion opens with a pleasant black currant bouquet with a hint of black cherry and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mineral infused black currant with notes of blueberry. The finish is dry and its flavors show nice length. I would pair this wine with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
