Wine Review: This opaque and medium purple colored wine from Margaux opens with a graphite, red currant and craisin bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, refined, smooth and silky. The flavor profile is earthy loam and red currant blend with notes of oak. There are hints of black licorice, raspberry and black tea mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors and fine tannins show very nice length. The Panel would pair this delicate Bordeaux wine with a filet mignon. Enjoy – KWGTP
