Wine Review: This dark red colored Merlot based wine from St. Emilion opens with black plum and oak bouquet with hints of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced. The flavor profile is a black plum and oak blend with notes of black tea and graphite. We also detected some hints of dark chocolate. The finish is dry, and its well-managed dusty tannins are nicely extended. The Tasting Panel would serve this wine with a New York strip steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
